4-Week Progression Guide
Week 1: Adjustment Period
Wear during all daily activities. Focus on comfort and fit. Light movements only (walking, stairs, light stretching).
Week 2: Building Confidence
Increase activity duration and intensity slightly. Longer walks, uneven ground, normal daily movement. Your body is starting to trust the support.
Week 3: Sport-Specific Movements
Add sport-specific drills at 70% intensity. Cutting, pivoting, directional changes. The wrap becomes more invisible as your confidence builds.
Week 4: Return to Activity
Your actual activity at full intensity. By now, the wrap feels natural. You've rebuilt your confidence. You're not recovering anymore—you're back.
Quick Troubleshooting
Wrap Feels Loose or Slipping
Remove and re-fit. Ensure skin is clean and dry. Press Velcro firmly. Tighten by adjusting overlap. Check that your socks aren't too loose.
Wrap Is Too Tight
Loosen the Velcro slightly. Reposition if needed. Re-attach with less tension. Test with one-finger rule again. Support comes from positioning, not crushing tightness.
Ankle Feels Unstable During Movement
Check that Velcro is firmly attached. Verify wrap is centered. Make sure you're wearing proper athletic shoes. This usually improves by day 3 as your body trusts the support.
Minor Rubbing or Irritation
This is normal the first 2-3 days. Try wearing a thin athletic sock under the wrap. Adjust position slightly. Don't wear while sleeping initially. If it persists beyond one week, contact support.
